First let us say that Shalom Farm is a small hobby farm. We are located in a small community in Douglas County Oregon, situated along Pass Creek in the Southern Willamette Valley. We grow a variety of fruit, vegetables and herbs using organic growing methods, crop rotation, compost and natural pest control. We value healthy food, a clean environment and supporting our local community. We use seed and plants purchased locally that is GMO free.  We enjoy living close to the land and our goal is a simple, sustainable life.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our small flock of chickens provide us eggs when they feel like it! Our goats are mainly for brush control and entertainment, as anyone who has goats can appreciate.  Then there's Edward the lazy cat and Jessi the farm dog who does all the mouse hunting!
